Fans of the action-packed “John Wick” franchise have something to look forward to with the upcoming spinoff series The Continental.” The official trailer for the limited series has just been released, offering a thrilling glimpse into the world of assassins and danger.

“The Continental: From the World of John Wick” is a three-part limited series that takes viewers back in time, roughly 40 years before the events of the “John Wick” movies. The series centers around events in New York City, focusing on a hotel for assassins that plays a crucial role in the films. Colin Woodell stars as Winston Scott, a young version of the Continental Hotel owner portrayed by Ian McShane in the Keanu Reeves movies.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the series is the addition of Mel Gibson as Cormac, an enigmatic underworld kingpin and the current manager of the hotel. This marks Gibson’s first foray into TV series work since his appearance in the 2004 ABC comedy “Complete Savages.”

It follows Winston Scott as he navigates the dangerous landscape of 1970s New York City, facing a past he believed he had left behind. The limited series is written and executive produced by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward, and Shawn Simmons, with Albert Hughes serving as an executive producer and director for episodes one and three.
