Despite Banchero's absence, Orlando's Jalen Suggs stepped up, scoring a career-high 28 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Franz Wagner added 17 points, but the Magic struggled to find their rhythm without their star player.
A critical moment came late in the third quarter, when Cleveland's reserves—Caris LeVert, Sam Merrill, and Georges Niang—hit a series of three-pointers, stretching the Cavs' lead to 17 points heading into the final frame.
