The entertainment industry in India is all set to revive with the COVID-19 situation getting better. While many media giants incurred severe losses during this time, many production houses were also conceptualized during the time of lockdown. Kedar Joshi, a well-established name in the Marathi film industry has brought his production house to life during this time. He is the brainchild behind ?Marathibaabaa?, a well-known page on Instagram that gives timely updates about the Marathi film industry.?
The producer is now all set to launch his production house named ?Suman Entertainment? in August. To produce high-end content for the audience, Kedar Joshi has been reading interesting scripts that will be bankrolled by his venture. Apart from movies and web shows, his production venture will also launch music videos and songs. After a long delay because of the coronavirus pandemic, the producer has finally decided to go ahead with the digital launch of ?Suman Entertainment? in August.
It is said that the first project of Kedar Joshi under the production house will be a song that will be releasing in September. When asked about it, the producer said, ?All I would want everyone is to wait for an official announcement from my end. My team is working on a lot of projects, and we will announce them soon. We do have many songs, short films and web shows in the pipeline. It would be too early to comment, but all I can say is the wait will be worth it.?
On the other hand, Kedar Joshi even expressed his interest in producing feature films in the coming time. We all have witnessed cinema halls taking a backseat ever since the pandemic destroyed everything. However, the production house will be producing various films of different genres once the shoot starts and cinema halls get operational like before. ?Our idea is to entertain the audience, and what better than the cinematic experience to describe it? Hopefully, we shall see the audience soon in the theatres?, added Mr. Joshi.?
Interestingly, Kedar Joshi?s upcoming projects will see many budding talents. He believes that the deserving talents should get a platform, and that?s what the main goal is of his production house. Earlier it was revealed that the producer will announce some big projects during Diwali 2021. Well, the Marathi viewing audience will have to wait a little longer to find out what new projects the producer has got in the pipeline for them.
