Netflix teen drama, Sex Education is officially renewed for season 4. This is confirmed by Netflix just three weeks after season 3 of the show got premiered. The last season of the series was released on September 17, 2021, with all eight episodes premiered at the same time. Netflix has not announced the exact release date of season 4 but it has been predicted that the hit comedy-drama will be aired somewhere around next year. Every new season of the series has been released in a year gap so it might be possible that season 4 will come in 2023. According to the recent updates, the production will start the shooting of season 4 in April 2022 and will conclude in November. The latest reports suggested that this might be the end of the popular series. Fans are wondering if the writers are planning to conclude the show with the upcoming season.

Season 3 of Sex Education has left the fans with many cliffhangers. At the end of season 3, Maeve was struggling with her emotions. She has to choose between Otis and her career and ultimately she has chosen her career. But eventually, they came together and again separated. This left us all wondering whether they will be together in season 4 or the show will proceed with the two being separated. Aimee had finally left her long-time boyfriend, Steve, and is still confused about the whole situation. As for other students of Moordale High school, Headmistress Hope is expelled from her position. The cast of season 4 includes Gillian Anderson (Jean Milburn), Asa Butterfield (Otis), Emma Mackey (Maeve), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric), Connor Swindells (Adam), Lou Wood (Aimee), and Kedar Williams-Stirling (Jackson). In season 4, there will be two trans characters Abbi and Kent with Abbi having a “90’s Winona Ryder vibe.” Kent is from an ultra-religious and conservative family while Abbi is from an accepting family.
