Mikki is no newcomer to high stakes poker. But the poker pro has recently made headlines many days in a row. Hustler Casino Live is poker’s number 1 viewed poker show and Mikki has been a fan favorite since becoming the biggest winner in the shows history, twice in a row, when the show first started.

Hustler Casino Live (HCL) just produced 4 days of “The Million Dollar Game”, a game where 4 days in a row, 8 players each day would buy in for $1 Million dollars. Mikki had been marketed by HCL as a player in the game. The night before the game, Mikki released a video stating he would not be playing in it. This obviously caused a frenzy. Other players like Eric Perssons, Alan Keating, Liron, Bobo, JR, Pepe, and Tony G had already dropped out of the game too.

Mikki filmed the video from HCL’s secure production room and the video was reposted by HCL on their official instagram page. The post alluded to Mikki’s appearance fee not being met. It’s always been an unspoken belief that Mikki does receive appearance fees to market these poker streams. He even spoke about it in a previous video posted by HCL.

Nick Vertucci, co-owner of HCL, said in an interview the following day that Mikki does not receive an appearance fee at all, and rather that he himself didn’t have the funds to play in the game. Not having the funds doesn’t seem likely for Mikki.
In response, Mikki posted an image of the $1,000,000 Cashier’s Check he claims was for the game.

A subreddit was created about this check stating the signature on the check of JP Morgan Executive, Reginald Chambers, has not been with JP Morgan (Chase) since 2021, making the check either old or a fake.

Known internet troll, Doug Polk, is a poker pro and poker vlogger with a large poker audience. He created a video showcasing the subreddit thread and spoke matter-of-factly on Mikki’s “fraudulent” check. Stating with conviction that Mikki is low of liquidity, never intended on playing in The Million Dollar Game, and that in fact the check is a fake.
Unsure why Polk made this video, but one thing a quick search will find is that the Cashier’s Check in question was an authentic Chase Cashier’s Check worth $1,000,000. Chase Cashier’s Checks do not expire, and it is commonly known casino gamblers use large Cashier’s Checks to transfer money in and out of Vegas casinos. Another false fact Polk didn’t consider was that JP Morgan Executive Reginald Chambers is still an executive employee at JP Morgan as of May 1, 2023 when JP Morgan had to update its most recent filings with the SEC.
Mikki’s check was legit.
