Terrell Wade is a popular social media influencer with a few hundred thousand followers on Instagram. Ever since Wade first decided to establish his comedic presence online, he has chosen to maintain the username @TheWadeEmpire on his Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. As Wade’s popularity and social media engagement continues to grow, The Wade Empire moniker has proven to be more and more fitting with each of Wade’s social media posts. 

Wade hails from the metropolitan area of Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Troy High School in 2008 and received his bachelor’s degree in media and information from Michigan State University. Wade has lived in Lansing for the past decade, where he has worked as a banker. In 2017, Wade decided to devote his personal time outside of work to his social media persona. Wade would always wear business attire as he traveled to and from work, and his travel time offered a perfect opportunity to record creative content for his social media pages. Wade ultimately developed a niche for making office-style content which his hardworking follower fanbase could sympathize with and continuously be entertained by.

The appreciation for Wade’s office-style content increased when many people were stuck at home and in need of mental stimulation. For the past couple of years, people have consistently commended Wade for making videos about work situations they too have experienced and now find humorous. Wade has been able to amass 1.1 million followers on TikTok, and his creative content has led to branding partnerships with a number of major companies including McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Adobe and Dell. Wade aims to continue advancing his social media brand as he migrates into other segments of the entertainment industry.
