Born on January 24, 1994, Iman Tucker from Fort Bragg has exemplified the power of determination. The Indianapolis-based Dj and Entrepreneur have achieved several milestones throughout the year. As a true Entrepreneur, he has also uplifted multiple businesses. CardBoard, an online whiteboard firm’s success allowed Tucker to attain triumph in the field of advanced technology. With his extensive knowledge of the market and a proper plan of action, Tucker managed to take the firm to new heights.
Out of many life-altering experiences, one such moment was the one where Tucker opened and shared the stage with some of the biggest performers of the Christian Music Industry including Andy Mineo, Cory Asbusry, KB & Steven Malcolm. When we asked him about this experience, he said, “ This experience was indeed a transformative one. I was content with myself that I was getting the results of my hard work.”
In contrast to people’s beliefs, Tucker’s journey hasn’t been smooth. Playing saxophone at the age of 12 was his very first encounter with music. Much to everyone’s dismay, Tucker was diagnosed with a rare but aggressive cancer at the age of 14. As an optimistic person, he looked at the situation as the second chance of his life and he came out of it stronger than ever.
After winning his fight against cancer, Tucker joined his high school track and field team which eventually landed him a scholarship at the University of Indianapolis. By serving as a captain for 3 years and by getting the highest GPA, he aced his University life. While pursuing an MBA degree, he realized his love for music. At a college party, he realized his love for being a music selector.
After striving a few more years, Tucker was introduced to Jeremy Gearries, a DJ business owner who further extended his contact to Nick Saligoe(DJ Metrognome). Over the years, Tucker started performing for some of the largest churches. By landing multiple mixes on MixCloud’s Top 100 Charts was one of the greatest milestones he has achieved so far.
Parallelly, Tucker has also sharpened his entrepreneurial skills. Believe Brand Co. is one of the most successful ventures of his which depicts who you are. Out of many viral designs, the one with “love everybody” got a lot of love from people. Success to him means leaving a positive impact on people and we all can see that his work as a Dj and as an Entrepreneur already makes him one of the most successful people.
