Alexander Weinstein is an American entrepreneur, investor, and activist. He is the founder and CEO of Ingagi Clothing. Weinstein was born in Boulder, CO, and grew up in San Diego. He spent most of his childhood doing adventures and participating in various sports activities.
Alex had a pristine education and has always been at the top of his class. Weinstein also has a black belt in Kung Fu. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong urge to make a difference in the world–today at the young age of 22 years, he has it all.
Early Life
Born in Boulder, CO, on 8th August 2000, Alexander Weinstein was an adventurous young boy who spent most of his time surfing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. He has a headstrong and compassionate personality that is reflected in his overall behavior. He was an adventurous young man with a strong passion for helping people.
It was during 13 years of age that Alex’s entrepreneurial spirit was kindled. At this young age, he launched his first company, a social media marketing agency. It was to help companies reach their target customer base. His pilot project helped him to understand the importance of hard work and dedication.
Apart from that, he also started various non-profit projects for conserving beaches and wildlife. He staged political movements to prevent offshore drilling as well as collecting funds for beach clean-ups. It was clear from the beginning that Alex was not an ordinary child. What makes him different from others is that he puts his heart toward a cause and makes sure that it is successful. Alex also performs great academically and has always been at the top among all the other students.
Career
Alexander Weinstein has always been special. He has immense talent and entrepreneurial skills, which are reflected in his career. His first venture was a social media agency to help businesses reach their target audience. However, this was only the beginning.
After that, he went into the investing business and is an Angel investor in multiple Web 3 businesses. Currently, he owns a clothing company, Ingagi Clothing. This company helps to fight the poaching of Silverback Gorillas in The Virunga National Park. A part of the sale proceeds goes to Dian Fossey Foundation to save the Gorillas.
Furthermore, Alex is also a social media influencer, known as Alex Gunnar, and has traveled to multiple countries to inspire others. At the young age of 22 years, Alex became a fine entrepreneur, investor, activist, and influencer.
At this age, most people struggle to find a good job and attain financial independence. However, to Alex, it has never been about money. To him, it is about following your passion and making a career out of it. Unlike others, he wants to make a difference in society. This is what drove him toward becoming an activist.
Alex and the Ingagis
Alex has a kind spirit with a passion for helping others in need. He has been into activism since a young age. When he was yet a boy, he organized various non-profits project to save and protect wildlife. His first non-profit project was to preserve the wildlife in San Diego. At the young age of 12 years, he participated in beach clean-ups to save flora and fauna and preserve biodiversity.
He is also the council leader of a local charity where he helps the homeless by offering them food. He also helps the veterans in the area. Apart from this, he also helps to protect the Ingagi, i.e., Silverback Gorillas in The Virunga National Park.
Alex first came across the condition of Ingagis through Dian Fossey. She was his role model who strived to stop the poaching of Silverbacks at Virunga National Park. She inspired others by writing to protect and save the Gorillas. Unfortunately, she was martyred in her fight to save the innocent animals.
The Ingagis are Mountain Gorillas that live in the forests of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. These animals are critically endangered due to poaching activities. Following her legacy, The Dian Fossey Gorilla Foundation was created to save the Ingagis.
This organization works by collecting funds and organizing research and a task force to protect the gorillas from poachers. It also helps to prevent the spread of disease and protect the habitat of Ingagis.
Inspired by her work, Alex launched Ingagis Clothing. 15% proceeds from the sale of clothes go to The Dian Fossey Gorilla Foundation. This initiative by Alex is a perfect combination of entrepreneurship and activism. He is working on expanding the brand to spread awareness about the plight of the Ingagis and protect them.
