Renowned rapper Kanye West, who legally changed his name to “Ye” in 2021, and his partner, Australian architectural designer Bianca Censori, have reportedly faced a boatload of trouble in Venice, resulting in their banishment from a prestigious boat company.

The controversy arose when the couple was captured enjoying a boat ride in Venice at the end of August. However, the photos that surfaced depicted the duo in a compromising position. West, 46, was seen with his trousers down and his posterior exposed, while Censori, 28, appeared to be crouching between his legs.

In response to the pictures, the boat company issued a statement declaring that the celebrity pair is unwelcome on future trips. Both West and Censori have been barred from utilizing the company’s services.

Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, known for hosting celebrity clients such as Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, and Ben Affleck, explained that the boat’s driver had not witnessed these “obscenities” because they were focused on navigating the waterways safely. The statement further emphasized that had the driver observed any inappropriate behavior, they would have immediately taken action and reported it.

The statement went on to clarify that a third person accompanying the couple on the taxi obstructed the captain’s view, thereby distancing the company from the alleged acts and behaviors. “Mr. West and his wife will certainly no longer be welcome on board our company’s boats,” the statement concluded.

While the public is left wondering about this peculiar incident, it’s essential to remember that West and Censori have been romantically linked since January, and they reportedly married earlier this year in a non-legally binding ceremony. This union came two months after West finalized his divorce from reality TV star Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children.

Kanye West, a music industry heavyweight known for chart-topping hits like “Stronger” (2007) and “Waves” (2016), has had a storied career marked by critical acclaim and numerous awards. However, in recent years, his notoriety has shifted from music to an array of controversies, including a series of controversial remarks and behaviors.

These controversies include West’s disconcerting comments related to Jewish people, leading to his dismissal by Adidas and Balenciaga in 2022. CAA, one of the prominent talent agencies in the United States, also severed ties with the musician. West has faced suspensions and reinstatements on Twitter due to his online conduct.

One of the most shocking moments came when West declared on right-wing commentator Alex Jones’ show Infowars that he “likes Hitler.” Earlier that year, West and right-wing commentator Candace Owens made headlines by wearing “White Lives Matter” T-shirts during Paris Fashion Week.

West’s erratic behavior extended to social media, where he shared antisemitic conspiracy theories and posted a tweet containing offensive language directed at Jewish people. In an interview on Piers Morgan‘s TalkTV show, West defended his actions, stating that he “fought fire with fire” and expressing no regret.

These actions have attracted widespread criticism, even from fellow celebrities like Lizzo and John Legend. West’s return to Instagram included a post where he stated that Jonah Hill made him “like Jewish people again,” accompanied by a caption expressing regret for the confusion and hurt he had caused.

As the Venice boat controversy unfolds, it adds yet another layer to Kanye West’s complex and controversial journey, leaving both fans and critics intrigued by his unpredictable path.
