When will After Ever Happy be available on Netflix?

After ever happy

After Ever Happy, the fourth instalment in the teen romance film series After, will be released on Netflix in numerous territories. Based on Anna Todd’s novels, the After films have received widespread criticism for their weak scripting and, at times, horrible acting. Regardless, they are profitable and popular in many parts of the world.
Following the three succeeding films released annually since 2019, a fourth film is set to be released in theatres on September 7th, 2022, after premiering in London in August 2022.

Castille Landon hinted to the possibility of additional films when he told Variety in August 2021, “I’m working on some other ideas in the “After” world and I’ll leave that ambiguous.” A fifth film, tentatively titled After Everything, has since been announced and is now in production.
For the fourth instalment, Castille Landon is again in charge of directing, and Sharon Soboil is back in charge of writing. Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Josephine Langford, Carter Jenkins, Louise Lombard, Rob Estes, Kiana Madeira, and Chance Perdomo are among the cast members who have officially confirmed their return for the fourth film. There is a plot summary available that provides us a solid indication of what to anticipate in the fourth film:

The two lovers learn they are not all that different from one another when a devastating truth about a couple’s family comes to light. Hardin is no longer the nasty, temperamental boy Tessa fell so hard for, and Tessa is no longer the sweet, straightforward, good girl she was when they first met.

When and where will After Ever Happy be available on Netflix?

We don’t expect After Ever Happy to be available in all regions at the same time. For the past two films, Netflix in Asia has received the film first, followed by the US and Canada significantly later. After Ever Happy will be available on Netflix in Asian areas on September 29th, 2022. In these territories, the film is classified and sold as a Netflix Original title. This includes the following:

Netflix Hong Kong
Netflix India
Netflix Japan
Netflix Philippines

Wherever else, there hasn’t been a formal announcement of when we can anticipate it to be available on Netflix (just as there hasn’t been for previous films either). It’s important to note that it won’t be released everywhere either. The film’s US distributor, Voltage Pictures, distributes it to Netflix as a licenced title in some areas and as an Original in others. After Ever Happy is still anticipated to arrive in the following areas in late 2022 or early 2023:

Netflix Canada
Netflix USA

After We Fell arrived on Netflix in the US and Canada much later than it did in Asia; although the majority of territories saw the film in October 2021, the US had to wait until mid-January 2022.

The previous two films have been made available on Amazon Prime Video in a number of nations, including the UK and France. That will still be the case heading into the fourth film, despite the fact that the first film, After, will become streaming in the UK in September 2022. Prime Video acquired the rights to After We Fell and After Ever Happy back in August 2021. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in September 2022.
