The movie, which is based on a true account, tells the story of a young Gran Turismo player who, because of his gaming prowess, won several Nissan contests and realized his dream of becoming a real professional racing car driver.

Gran Turismo is widely regarded as the most accurate driving simulator thanks to its realistic graphics, physics technology, and meticulous attention to detail. It was first released in Japan in 1997 by Polyphony and acclaimed creator Kazunori Yamauchi. Yamauchi revolutionized the racing game genre with this game. Gran Turismo 7, the newest game from Polyphony, will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on March 4, 2022. It provides the full GT experience and brings together the finest of Gran Turismo over the years. The franchise has sold more than 80 million copies globally since its debut in 1997 (*as of April 2018).

Harbour will reprise his role as Jim Hopper in Season 5 of the Netflix original series Stranger Things. The forthcoming Universal picture Violent Night, the recently revealed Thunderbolts from Marvel, and the HBO series My Dentist’s Murder Trial, which Harbour will also executive produce, all include Harbour.
