When Can You Watch ‘House of the Dragon’ in Your Time Zone?

house of the dragon

Here is the House of the Dragon release date across all time zones.

The silver-haired Targaryens governed Westeros for 300 years before “Game of Thrones” began. In HBO’s upcoming “House of the Dragon,” we will get to witness their reign firsthand. The “Game of Thrones” prequel transports us 200 years into the past, to a time when Targaryens and dragons were plentiful.

House of the Dragon, which follows the rise and eventual collapse of House Targaryen, aims to recreate the enchantment that made Game of Thrones such a cherished smash — at least for six seasons. The series is about a civil war known as The Dance of the Dragons that broke out after two Targaryens got into a blood feud over who should hold the Iron Throne.

One episode of House of the Dragon will show each week, much like Game of Thrones did before it. It will broadcast on Sundays at 9 p.m. starting on August 21 in the same primetime position as its predecessor. The program will launch simultaneously on streaming sites all across the world, which would include HBO Max in the US.

One of the most lauded serial dramas in the history of television, Game of Thrones was known for introducing Hollywood blockbuster filmmaking to your TV. However, because the HBO program was produced more quickly than Martin could produce new novels, a few of the show’s luster eroded in the last two seasons. In the Song of Fire and Ice series, the sixth book is infamous for its many delays.
