The hit superhero series The Boys is about to begin filming its fourth season, according to thd show’s star Antony Starr. The actor gave fans a sneak peek at himself and his The Boys co-star enjoying a delicious glass of red and white wine, respectively, while passing the time before a flight in a new snapshot posted to Starr’s Instagram.
The actor hinted that the two may be on their way to start filming for another round of filthy, crude, and frightening narratives by posting two images of himself and his co-star Chase Crawford together, seemingly in an airport lounge and later on a plane. In addition to the fact that the first image screams airline lounge, the second image depicts the two stars travelling in first class in what coach passengers can only imagine to be obscenely plush lounge seats. It’s unlikely that any viewers of the Prime Video series recognised Starr without his character’s recognisable bleach blonde hair, which is today jet black, as most of their features were hidden by baseball hats. Although the series’ star Karl Urban informed us that filming would begin at the end of August, this is the first image we’ve seen of the cast reuniting as they enter the studio, so pardon our enthusiasm. As usual, the finale of the third season of the comic book-turned-superhero parody series gave us a few jaw-dropping moments and a preview of what’s to come in the fourth season. Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy made a return in Season 3, and the season also gave us a difficult-to-swallow backstory on Black Noir, the man of no words.
Erin Moriarty, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, Jessie T. Usher, and Colby Minifie are among the returning cast members who can be counted on to make their way back to the play. Despite the fact that it seems as though Ackles and Dominique McElligott have, for lack of a better term, been put on hold, we anticipate that both will return in some capacity during the fourth season of the show.
