The latest Star Wars series “Andor” trailer has been released, and it offers an action-packed preview of the Disney+ series. The three-episode premiere’s release date of September 21 was also revealed in the video. The first stirring trailer, which detailed the tension-filled start of the uprising, gave fans their first taste of what they could anticipate from the new series during Star Wars Celebration.

In the five years before to 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, when the harsh reign of the Empire spurs a coalition of rebellious guerrilla freedom fighters led by Cassian himself, Andor’s first season is planned to have twelve episodes. Diego Luna plays the title fighter again in the lead role. As Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera, respectively, Genevieve O’Reilly and Forest Whitaker will return, while the cast will also include Stellan Skarsgrd, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Fiona Shaw, who are all newbies.

In contrast to the earlier trailers, this one provides a lot more information about the possible series’ plot. While Cassian’s revelation that he can transform the galaxy will be the main emphasis of Andor, it will also include both the rebels and the Empire as they struggle at this crucial moment.

Andor’s first three episodes will air on September 21 as indicated in the promotional teaser. Only the second live-action Star Wars series Kenobi, debuted with multiple episodes, with the first two chapters being released on the same day. Given that no Marvel series has ever aired more than two episodes on Day 1, this three-count does make it one of the biggest live-action openings on Disney+.

During a broadcast on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Luna unveiled the new trailer and discussed the scope of the upcoming series. Luna said, “It’s quite unique, because we know what Cassian is capable of, but we’re going to meet him when he doesn’t know he’s capable of that. We’re going to meet him when life is tough, it’s a very dark and interesting life because it’s just a regular guy that suddenly has to become part of something bigger, has to become part of a community that rises.”

He continued, “It’s the beginning of the origins of a revolution, and it’s a beautiful story because it reminds us what we are capable of, what we are all capable of. There’s no Jedis around it’s people having to take control.” Additionally, Luna hinted that the series would use more real-world effects than other big films. He mentioned, “I love the whole world. Suddenly I’m a kid on the set, because everything’s real, everything’s there. We don’t work with green screens, the stuff is built. The props work. They make noises.”
