Apple TV’s animated comedy Central Park has been renewed for Season 3 in March, 2021. The musical adult animated series’ first season was first premiered on May 29, 2020 followed by the second season which got premiered on June 25, 2021. Loren Bouchard, Nora Smith and Josh Gad developed the series for Apple TV+, using the same art style as Bouchard’s previous series Bob’s Burgers. The series revolves around a family living in Central Park in New York City who must save it from a greedy land developer.

Now Apple TV+ has announced the release date of season 3 of the Emmy nominated series. Beginning in early September, users of the streaming service will be able to visit cartoon New York City and rediscover their affection for its iconic natural tourist site. The third season of Central Park on Apple TV+ will debut on September 9. Kristen Bell, a former cast member who is returning to the show, will play Abby, Paige’s (Katherine Hahn) younger sister.

The fact that Season 3 of the musical and animated series was approved before Season 2 ever aired is a testament to how well received it is by both viewers and reviewers. Every new episode of the series features a new batch of original songs, many of which are cynical and comment on plot points, contemporary life, and New York in general. This elevates the concept of the show. No less than 40 new songs will be added to Central Park’s renowned and expansive collection for the next season.

New guest stars who will be providing their voices to fresh characters making their Season 3 debuts were also revealed by Apple TV+. Sam Richardson, Ike Barinholtz, Ben Schwartz and Zo Chao are among the new guest stars. Other guests include Tim Meadows, Craig Robinson, Ron Funches, Jack McBrayer, Amber Ruffin, Yvette Nicole Brown, David Alan Grier, and more.

The first three episodes of Central Park’s 13-episode third season, which will debut globally on Apple TV+ on October 26, will be followed by one episode every Friday through November 18. Bitsy will keep up her tenacious pursuit of purchasing the park, Owen (Odom Jr.) will launch a fresh advertising campaign to win over more fans, and Paige will find herself busier than ever after signing her first book contract.
