Leslie Jones To Star in Adult Animated Comedy Series currently in production at Warner Bros

According to Variety, comedian Leslie Jones is expected to feature in an adult animated series presently in development at Warner Bros Animation. The actress has a recurring part in Our Flag Means Death and appeared in 2021’s Coming 2 America.The animated series has yet to be given a title, and there are no official production specifics at this time. Jones will, however, play the major part of Plastic and executive produce the film, according to the source.

The new comedy will also be unrelated to the female-centric version of DC’s Plastic Man that was rumoured to be in development two years ago. The show will join Warner Bros.’ other adult-oriented animated programmes, including the critically acclaimed Harley Quinn. Jones is an American comedian and actress best known for her portrayal as Patty Tolan in the 2016 film Ghostbusters.
