Pete Davidson, who joined Saturday Night Live as one of the youngest cast members ever, is reportedly leaving the show. According to Variety, the 47th season finale of the hit American programme is slated to be Davidson’s final episode. When Davidson was just 20 years old, he joined the comedic sketch series.

After Saturday’s 47th season finale, Kate McKinnon and Pete Davidson are among those leaving Saturday Night Live, leaving the sketch show without probably its two most renowned personalities. Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney will also leave the cast after the episode hosted by Natasha Lyonne.

In her ten seasons on Saturday Night Live, Kate McKinnon, 38, won two Emmys and was nominated for nine more, including impressions of Hillary Clinton and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Her comedy skills with characters like alien abductee are impressive. Miss Rafferty was known for making castmates and guest hosts cry on air. McKinnon kicked off the evening with an out-of-this-world comedy before saying her farewells. “I love ya, thanks for letting me stay awhile. Live from New York, it’s Saturday night,” she said.

Davidson joined the ensemble in 2014 and has already appeared in eight seasons. His own colossal personality frequently overshadowed the roles he portrayed. His “Weekend Update” comedy commentary segments were frequently his most popular. Since then, Davidson has portrayed a variety of amusing characters on the show, ranging from Chad, a laid-back, spacey, monosyllabic boy, to Guaplord, the originator of “Tucci Gang,” a hyper-active SoundCloud rapper. He was also well-known for his off-screen life, which included dating Ariana Grande and his current girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Davidson said, “I never imagined this would be my life. I appreciate SNL for always having my back, for allowing me to work on myself and grow. Thank you to Lauren for never giving up on me or judging me even when everyone else was, for believing in me and allowing me to have a place I could call home with the memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you.”
