First Love Plot

First Love portrays two high school students on their journey of first love and heartbreak, starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin (Jim) and Sydney Park (Ann). First Love displays Jim and Ann’s love story against Jim’s parents’ relationship as they suffer after a financial catastrophe, and has been described as a “poignant look at a young man’s tough introduction into adulthood.”

First Love Trailer

The teaser begins with Tiffin’s character, Jim, wandering around the school library, hoping to grab the attention of his titular first love, Ann. He eventually musters the nerve to forge a bogus note from her teacher to get her out of class. Ann adds, “I’ve never even had a real boyfriend,” and Jim professes to have had little romantic experience as well. It’s not long until he presents her to his mother, who is entirely supportive of the relationship. Ann’s mother, on the other hand, isn’t certain that her daughter should be in a long-distance relationship when she moves to New York.

Ann eventually understands that perhaps her mother is correct. Actually, Jim doesn’t appear to be adverse to getting married. He’s head over heels in love, and he’s hesitant to trust his friend’s advice on how to deal with heartbreak. He knows his friend is mistaken and he isn’t going to let Ann go.

First Love Cast

Jim and Ann are played by Fiennes Tiffin and Sydney Park, respectively. Fiennes Tiffin is probably most known for his major role as Hardin Scott in the movie After. Park’s work on The Walking Dead and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is well-known. Jim’s parents are played by Diane Kruger (Troy, National Treasure) and Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice, Hitch). Nick, played by Blake Weise, appears to be one of Jim’s buddies who is assisting him in his heartbreak.
