Olivia Wilde Given Legal Papers By Ex On Stage At CinemaCon

During the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas on 26th April, Olivia Wilde was served an envelope while she was on stage talking about her upcoming movie “Don’t Worry Darling”. Initially the audience thought Olivia Wilde was given a script for her presentation at the event, a woman handed it to her. However, sources told that Wilde was served legal papers regarding her kids with former fiance actor Jason Sudeikis. The document was given in the middle of her presentation and “Personal and Confidential” was marked on the envelope. As per a journalist sitting in the audience, Olivia Wilde asked, “This is for me?”, calling it “very mysterious” and adding she was “going to open it now because it feels like it’s a script”.

After the “Love The Coopers” actress opened it, she said, “Okay, got it. Thank you”. Then she resumed with her presentation of her film starring Harry Styles. According to a source close to Jason Sudeikis, “Papers were drawn up to establish jurisdiction relating to the children of Ms Wilde and Mr Sudeikis. Mr Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered as this would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.” Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have two kids, a boy named Otis, 8 and a girl Daisy Josephine, 5.

In the wake of the confirmation that parcel involved legal papers, questions arised as to how that unknown woman got access to not only CinemaCon event but also near the stage where Olivia was present. The Managing Director of CinemaCon LLC issued a statement on 27th April, telling, “As the convention manager, we have never in the history of the convention had an incident where a delegate has approached the stage who was not authorized to be there. In light of this incident, we are reevaluating our security procedures to ensure the safety of all of our attendees.”

The former couple met during a party of SNL in 2011 and started dating. The “We’re The Millers” actor and “Booksmart” director were engaged in 2013, had their first child in 2014 and second in 2016. Wilde started filming her second film “Don’t Worry Darling” in 2020 and in November of the same year, she and Jason broke up. In January, 2021, she and Harry Styles publicly announced their relationship. A source close to Sudeikis and Wilde stated that both have moved on with their lives and will co-parent their kids since their is no enmity.
