It’s been one week since the defamation lawsuit trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard started, there has been a series of developments in the case such as testimonies from Johnny Depp’s friend Isaac Baruch and sister Christi Dembrowski and the former couple’s therapist. There is another occurrence in the case which is making headlines, Amber Heard’s friend is barred from entering the courtroom.

A British music journalist named Eve Barlow was kicked out of Depp-Heard trial, the decision followed the judge catching her on her phone texting and tweeting while sitting at the front row of the courtroom. According to reports, Eve Barlow also attempted to interfere in the case with the regard to Depp’s witness Gina Deuters. As per a source, “Eve Barlow seems to think she’s part of Amber’s legal team. Depp’s lawyers finally had enough and had her barred from the courtroom.”

The transcript of the trial states the judge observing that Barlow was texting and tweeting from her phone, noting that it violated the court order the judge said that she will now be barred from entering the courtroom till the trial concludes. The trial is the result of Johnny Depp suing Amber Heard for a piece she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 and accused him of domestic violence. The Pirates of the Caribbean star accused Amber Heard of making up such accusations in order to obtain a heavy divorce settlement.

Depp’s lawyers argue that these accusations has tarnished his reputation and damaged his career. Whereas, Heard has also filed a counter lawsuit against her former spouse for 100$ million.
