The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib is a follow-up of The Boss Baby: Family Business. The plot is that the character of TheodoreTempleton gets framed for embezzlement which involves the fraudulent conversion of a property, and is forced to return to his Boss Baby self and has to live with his brother Tim and his two nieces Tabitha and Baby Corp employee Tina. Therefore, Boss Baby and Tina run a new Field Team together to promote Baby Love while also working to prevent The Uncuddleables from destroying Baby Corp.
However, Boss Baby: Back In The Crib is not the first show in this franchise as Boss Baby: Back In Business was another series airing on Netflix from 2018-2020. The executive producer of the show said, “We told young Tim and Teddy’s story and I’d like to think we even stuck the landing before handing our baby back to the feature team. But just as we were tiptoeing out of the room, we saw what Tom McGrath and company were doing with their feature sequel, and it happened: The baby woke up. And he was very hungry for more.”
JP Karliak will voice Theodore “Boss Baby” Templeton, Mary Faber will play Tina Templeton, Alex Cazares portrays JJ, Max Mittelman voicing Tim Templeton, Nicole Byer depicts NannyCam No Filter CEO Baby, Kyle Chandler as Range Safety Binkerton and Andy Richter voices Board Member Bradley.
The Boss Baby: Back In The Crib will air on 19th May on Netflix. The trailer is out.
