Choose or Die, a movie by Toby Meakins is making its way in the Netflix’s horror genre this April. Starring Asa Butterfield playing the role of Issac, also known for Sex Education, Iola Evans starring as Kayla, han played by Eddie Marsan and Robert Englund as self. Apart from them, Kate Fleetwood as Laura, Ryan Gage as Lance, Angela Griffin as Thea, Joe Bolland as Beck will also be seen in the movie.
Kayla, played by Iola Eans, is a young broke student who decides to play and odd traced back to 1980’s computer game for a $100,000 prize. Sooner into the game she realizes that it’s not the prize money at stake, it’s her own life that she is playing for and she must win.
Netflix’s official synopsis : After firing up a lost 80s survival horror game, a young coder unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing her to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences.
Netflix has released a trailer of the upcoming movie, Choose or Die.
The trailer shows Kayla trying to make easy money by winning a retro game Curse>R, which soon she discovers is messing with her reality. Issac also falls as prey of that retro game with unusual things happening in both the youngsters’ lives. In between there are lines in the trailer like, ” the more the cursed suffers the more the curser benefits”, which does seem to make the trailer a little bit interesting and the movie a lot more. The game giving life threatening tasks to perform or the alternative death surely making the game cursed which was unleashed when Kayla chose to play it.
Choose or Die is releasing on April 15, 2022 on Netflix.
