The long awaited sequel giving us a chance to revisit the magical world of Harry Potter is finally here, Fantastic Beasts : The Secrets Of Dumbledore is soon going to be in theatres. Directed by David Yates, the screenplay based on J.K Rowling’s book and Steve Kloves.
The movie Fantastic Beasts 3 was set to release originally in November 2021, but got delayed while the shoot as it was around the pandemic time. In November 2020, Johnny Depp revealed he will no longer play Grindelwald in the film series after he lost his libel case relating to abuse allegations by former wife, actor Amber Heard against a UK newspaper. After Depp resigning the movie, it was postponed till July 2022. Now the Warner Bros had moved the release date a bit forward making the anticipation a bit less for the fans. The Fantastic Beasts : The Secrets Of Dumbledore is going to be released in UK cinemas on April 8, 2022 and in US cinemas on 15th April 2022. Initially the Fantastic Beasts series planned to have five parts in all. But for now, it depends on The Secrets Of Dumbledore for the next two sequels whether we will see them or not.
The Fantastic Beasts 3‘s first trailer was released in December 2021. The trailer showed Newt receiving a warning from Dumbledore regarding an upcoming danger over the wizarding world, “Grindelwald is pulling it apart with hate. If we’re to defeat him, you’ll have to trust me” he says. The trailer as much summarized features a team to stop what Dumbledore mentioned as warning. And as for the second trailer, it was available online from February,28.
