Johnny Depp is making a comeback in the screening world with Puffins Impossible. It’s an animated series that will run for over 18 episodes. The never ending fanbase of Depp was hoping and praying every single day for him to come back to the visual world. The famous actor has been missing the screens since his last release Minamata. Reason being a lot of battles and an infamous divorce with his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Looks like finally the gloomy days are over and Depp is making it back to the big screen with a follow up to his 2019 short series Puffins. The news is confirmed and even the star of the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean has confirmed his involvement in the series.
As per Variety, Puffins impossible has already been bought by Amazon Prime and Apple. The show follows up cute arctic birds lead by Johnny Puff, voiced by Depp. In the sequel to 2019 series, Puff will become ninja in the company of superheroes. The production of the show has already begun in Serbia.
In a statement Johnny Depp said, “‘Puffins Impossible’ is a great story for all ages, witty and educational, The work that has been done in just one year is simply amazing; I’m delighted with the creativity of people from Serbia”. “Puffins Impossible” has become the first animated series to be produced in Republic of Serbia.
This finally sounds like a breather for Depp since he was surrounded by controversies for the major part of past 2 years of his life. The actor had to let go many of his projects during the time. Although the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean are still silent about him keeping his part in the series, Fantastic Beasts have confirmed of his exit from them.
