Baby Fever: A New Danish Netflix Series

Baby Fever, a new Danish Netflix series starring Josephine Park, was announced today by Netflix. The six-part romantic comedy-drama revolves around fertility doctor Nana (Josephine Park) and the patients she meets and treats.
When Nana inseminates herself in a drunken stupor with a very special portion of sperm – namely her ex-– boyfriend’s she sets off a chain reaction of both big and small disasters. This rash decision results in a pregnancy, and Nana now has to figure out how to explain her condition – which she can’t hide forever – while also winning back her ex-boyfriend and long-lost love. The issue is that he doesn’t appear to be particularly interested in reuniting with Nana.

Nana’s secret pregnancy allows her to see her clients in a new light, but as her lies grow larger, it becomes increasingly difficult for her to navigate them, and for the first time in her life, Nana must tell the truth – and possibly reveal a secret that could ultimately cost her everything.

Baby Fever, a six-part romantic comedy-drama created by Amalie Nsby Fick and Nikolaj Feifer and produced by Dorthe Riis Lauridsen and executive producer Piv Bernth from Apple Tree Productions, has begun filming. The six-episode series will be available on Netflix around the world. The launch date has yet to be determined. The series will be available on Netflix worldwide later in 2022.
The cast includes Josephine Park (Doggystyle), Olivia Joof Lewerissa (DNA), Simon Sears (Shadow and Bone), Charlotte Munch (Anna Pihl), Mikael Birkkjr (Borgen), Tammi st (A Perfectly Normal Family), Emil Prenter, Thomas Levin (Borgen), Jesper Ole Feit Andersen (The Chestnut Man), Amelia Hy (Countdown Copenhagen), Morten Jrgensen (The Emigrants).
