Jisoo of BLACKPINK reveals strong imagery in the most recent concept poster for his upcoming solo album ME

A new concept poster for the solo debut of Jisoo from BLACKPINK has been unveiled by YG Entertainment.

Jisoo’s solo debut:

On March 21st, YG Entertainment, the agency representing BLACKPINK, posted ‘JISOO – CONCEPT POSTER #1′ on their official social media platforms, revealing a watercolor-inspired visual of Jisoo for her highly anticipated solo debut.

Jisoo can be seen wearing a red outfit, adorned with a flower-shaped accessory, against a soft red background. Her minimal and sophisticated styling, combined with her dreamy eyes and soft charisma, create a unique aura, further building anticipation among fans worldwide. Through the teaser content released, Jisoo’s colorful charms are being unveiled one by one, and fans are eagerly anticipating her music.

Jisoo’s achievement:

On March 31st at 1 pm, Jisoo will release her first solo album ‘ME’, with the title track ‘FLOWER’ showcasing her new music style. Compared to Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, who have previously debuted as solo artists and set new records on global charts, expectations for Jisoo’s solo debut are high.

The album has already garnered significant interest and achieved impressive pre-sale numbers, surpassing 950,000 pre-orders in just two weeks, making it the highest single album pre-ordered by a female K-pop solo artist.

The album recorded 510,000 pre-orders in two days and 840,000 in a week, with orders coming in from all over the world, including North America, Europe, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. YG Entertainment anticipates that ‘ME‘ could become the first “Million Seller” title by a K-pop female solo artist.

BLACKPINK:

At present, Jisoo is part of BLACKPINK, a K-pop girl group that is currently on the largest world tour and has attracted around 1.5 million people. The group is also scheduled to perform as the main act at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ in the US in April and at the ‘Hyde Park British Summertime Festival’ in the UK in July.
