Julia Fox discussed how her acting career has been hampered by her and Kanye West’s widely publicised relationship honestly with Emily Ratajkowski, who herself filed for divorce from her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September. She admitted, “After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way. I’m not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There’s been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety.”
As a result of the pair’s frequent media attentionboth during their relationship and even after it ended Julia Fox acknowledged that some professionals in the field may view her as a “liability” and tabloid sort of person. She said, “It’s fine, I’m so busy. I think things come to you at the right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing. I really don’t care. I just have to trust the process.”
Last New Year’s Eve, Kanye West and Julia Fox were first seen together in Miami. A week later, the actress announced her relationship with the rapper in an elaborate spread for Interview that featured a PDA-heavy photoshoot and an honest essay. Julia gushed about how she and Kanye “instantly connected,” calling their first date “every girl’s fantasy come true.” It’s interesting to note that their passionate relationship started ten months after Kim Kardashian requested a divorce from Kanye West in February 2021. Fox and West quickly called it quits in February 2022 after attending Paris Fashion Week and celebrating Julia’s birthday on February 2.
