One of the most eagerly awaited new films on Netflix is Carry-On, which is directed by Taron Egerton of Kingsman and is produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment. Here is all we currently know about Carry-On. Jaume Collet-Serra, who oversaw films including The Shallows, Unknown, Jungle Cruise, and Black Adam, each of which starred Dwayne Johnson, will helm the film. The first draught of the screenplay was written by TJ Fixman, and Michael Green most recently polished it. Additionally, Fixman is now associated with Netflix’s Past Midnight. Carry-On, one of the upcoming projects produced by Amblin Partners as part of their overall agreement with Netflix, was first revealed in July 2022. The agreement was made back in June 2021; Steven Spielberg is the chairman of Amblin Partners. The project will be supervised by Holly Bario, the head of production at Amblin. The subtitle for Carry-On on Netflix is as follows:
The plot revolves around Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who is blackmailed by an enigmatic traveller to allow a hazardous cargo to pass security and onto a flight on Christmas Day.

Who is in the cast of Carry-On?

Taron Egerton will play Ethan Kopek in Netflix’s Carry-On. The Kingsman, Rocketman, and Black Bird are among Egerton’s most recent projects. According to Deadline, he was the sole actor to read for and meet with the film; he and Collet-Serra hit it off right away, and a deal to sign on shortly followed. Netflix has announced two rounds of additional casting since Egerton’s casting, one on September 26th and the other on October 17th, 2022.

When will Carry-On be available on Netflix?

Carry-On is now in pre-production at Netflix, with filming set to begin on September 26, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.
Netflix hasn’t disclosed any release dates for Carry-On, but given its early development stage, we can presumably expect it in late 2023 or 2024.
