To Critical Role, The Mighty Nein is making a comeback. The Mighty Nein Reunited, a two-part special for the well-liked web series, will premiere on November 17 and December 1. The Mighty Nein, the protagonists of Critical Role’s second campaign, will return in the two-part special, as suggested by the episode’s title. The Mighty Nein crew is brought back together in the special a few months after the original campaign’s conclusion when they learn that there are “old chapters” from their past that have not yet been closed. While Critical Role refuses to confirm whether Taliesin will portray Caduceus or Mollymauk for ComicBook.com, the cast will all reprise their former roles from the Mighty Nein campaign.

Additionally, The Mighty Nein Reunited will see the cinematic return of Critical Role. The two-part special will be shown by Cinemark in 63 theatres in the US and 9 in South America. YouTube and Twitch will both simultaneously stream the new episodes. It’s noteworthy that the South American screenings will occur the day following the North American premiere.

Since their campaign ended in mid-2021, the Mighty Nein have not before made an appearance in Critical Role programming. When the campaign came to a close, there were still a few notable narratives unfinished, most notably one involving the demi-god Uka’toa. Even though Uka’toa predominated in the first part of the campaign, the plot about the creature’s effort to break free was discarded after Fjord got rid of it. The Cerberus Assembly may play a role in the special, especially given that some of the group’s members have emerged as pivotal antagonists throughout the series.

November 17 and December 1 will see the airing of The Mighty Nein Reunited. The event’s theatre tickets are available for purchase.
