Ravinder Singh Lochan aka DJ R Nation is one of the top punjabi music producers in India and has a nationwide following.
Ever since he was a kid, he had immense love for music and as he grew up, his love for music also started to grow. Eventually, Ravinder decided to pursue music as his career and follow his dreams.He started his career by playing at Weddings and parties, following which, when he got enough exposure, he was hired as a club’s resident DJ for almost 12 years.
R Nation is not just a DJ but also a music producer, DJing wasn’t enough for him so he started delving deeper into music and started honing his skills as a producer and has been producing original music for over eight years now. When asked about the importance of music in his life, R Nation spoke about how it’s more than just passion for him. He said that it’s a way for him to define his career and himself, producing music for him is the ultimate stress buster out there.
R nation says, “Producing music and mixing tracks brings me more joy than anything else out there. That feeling when you know that the people are really enjoying your music and grooving to it, it’s a different kind of high that can’t be defined. Music has created so many opportunities for me in life, introduced me to so many amazing people, I am eternally grateful that I am was able to pursue my passion and make it my living.”
Up until now, the DJ has produced 13 remix albums and has composed 4 original tracks, all of which have received a lot of praise not just from fans but his peers as well. DJ R Nation is widely popular for his groovy mixes of Bollywood Music, Punjabi Music and hip hop.
