Story
The charming urban romantic comedy “My Special Girl” centers on the lives of Gu Jiuli and Hao Liang, two young people navigating both personal and professional obstacles.
Zhang Yun Long portrays Gu Jiuli. Gu Jiuli, an aspirational AI engineer, establishes Jiuyuan Technology, a business devoted to creating cutting-edge companion robots. His motivation comes from his early years, when he frequently experienced loneliness and yearned for an all-encompassing friend. He pushes the boundaries of technological innovation with his unwavering determination to build the ideal AI friends.
Played by Ireine Song, Hao Liang: Hao Liang is an energetic senior majoring in early childhood education who aspires to be a singer. She is compelled to seek a more secure career, though, by her mother’s traditional beliefs. Hao Liang lives a double life, interning at Jiuyuan Technology by day and becoming a well-known live-streaming singer at night, in an attempt to balance her passion and her responsibilities.
A humorous turn is introduced to the narrative by Hao Liang’s dual identity. She poses as a conscientious and committed intern at Jiuyuan Technology, attracting Gu Jiuli’s attention with her creative ideas and sincere demeanor. But when she performs live on streaming platforms, she projects a self-assured and captivating image that enthralls a completely different audience, including Jiuli, who is ignorant of her actual identity.
The interactions between Jiuli and Hao Liang as the narrative progresses result in a number of miscommunications and amusing circumstances. Unaware that the singer is his intern, Jiuli finds herself enthralled with her live streaming performance. Hao Liang, meanwhile, is a successful professional and musician who finds it difficult to keep her secret.
Jiuli and Hao Liang discover love, trust, and the value of staying true to who they are via their journey together. Their special bond not only makes people laugh and feels good about them, but it also helps them overcome personal challenges and realize their dreams.
