Story

Plot
Directed by Yao Xiaofeng and Zhou Nan, who are well-known for their respective roles in “With You” and “Young Blood Season 2,” “Northward” is a moving modern drama. The show follows the lives of several childhood friends who grew up beside the Grand Canal and is based on the critically acclaimed novel by Xu Zechen. They reunite after years apart and through personal struggles, finding hope again in the face of adversity.
