Many game releases were pushed back because of the pandemic. The release of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands too has received many delays.

World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands Is Releasing Soon

It was expected to be out on October 27 this year but it never happened at all. The fans were all disheartened by this and had no other option but to wait for some more time. Luckily, their long wait finally seems to have come to an end as the devs have revealed that the game will be released on 23rd of this month. World Of Warcraft’s executive producer John Hight said in a Tweet that the time between the delayed release was mostly used to improve the game, modify the combats and re-modify the Covenant systems and some of the rewards.

Pre-patch of the game had already been released and it basically marks the initial footing in any World Of Warcraft expansion’s complete release. There’s also a pre-launch event of the expansion on November 10. The event will be featuring Scourge and the first official raid, Castle Nathria, will start on December 8. It will be the origin of Season 1 content in the game.

Some Updates

Shadowlands is, in fact, the first ever expansion for the World Of Warcraft since 2018’s Battle for Azeroth. Battle for Azeroth had garnered somewhat of a mixed reception. Some players liked it while many condemned it. The new Shadowlands expansion brings with it some major updates when compared with the previous ones. It features freely changing the gender of your in-game character and reduction in the level cap to 60 after many years of “power creep”. New players can find it easy to play the game as higher level characters will have them pulled down.
