Story

Plot Summary
Since their most recent large-scale theft, the Three Horsemen have been hiding. As word of their upcoming major move spreads, their notoriety has only gotten greater. But Sebastian Blackwood (Daniel Radcliffe), a mysterious newcomer, shows up with a bold scheme to dethrone the Horsemen.
Blackwood, a former illusionist who is now a tech mogul, has created a ground-breaking kind of digital magic that gives him the ability to use sophisticated holography to control and manipulate people’s thoughts and behaviors. The Horsemen are living under false pretenses, so Blackwood decides to make a public spectacle out of exposing them and forcing them to come out of hiding.
As this is going on, the Horsemen—Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel Atlas, and Lizzie Caplan as Lula May—need to get together to confront Blackwood’s technological marvels. They reunite with Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), an old ally, and enter the dangerous realm of illusion and deceit once more.
As Blackwood’s schemes jeopardize the Horsemen’s lives as well as their freedom, the tension grows. The Horsemen must use their cunning, magic, and unity to pull off their biggest ruse yet and defeat their most formidable foe thanks to Blackwood’s mind-bending technology and a number of intricate set-ups.
