After a successful and captivating Season 1, the show is now returning on the streaming platform with a second season which will bring back Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra in their respective roles alongside new additions to the cast of the show. The season 2 teaser trailer was released just a few moments ago and fans are hyped up about it.

The Witcher has released its teaser trailer for season 2. The teaser trailer shows Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) embarking on a journey with Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) to the Witcher castle Kaer Morhen. The trailer also hints at the resurrection of the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg. The season 2 will premiere on Netflix on December 17, 2021. News regarding the second season of The Witcher was revealed on Friday during WitcherCon, an internet streaming event devoted to everything Witcher-stanza, alongside delivering the accompanying teaser trailer.

Season one of The Witcher made its way to Netflix in 2019 and was an adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s top of the line novels of a similar name. The show has had a rough street getting back on the air.
