Fans are very enthusiastic about WWE Extreme Rules 2022. It has taken years to organize this event. This event was also put on by WWE the previous year, and it was successful. Fans did not enjoy the show’s conclusion, but the entire production was excellent. The match cards for Extreme Rules 2021 and 2022 are very different.

Roman Reigns declines to compete in Extreme Rules

Roman Reigns now makes occasional appearances in WWE. He is only hired by WWE for major events. Although his Crown Jewel match is already decided, he is entirely barred from Extreme Rules 2022. Last year, he joined the cast of the show.
By winning this match against the “Demon” Finn Balor, he was able to successfully defend his Universal title. The ropes were snapped just as Balor was about to win the contest. He fell as a result, and Roman Reigns once more used a spear to win a decisive match.

This year, fewer title matchups have been scheduled.
WWE presided over several championship contests at Extreme Rules 2021. Six matches were on the main card, and five of them matches were for titles. Both of the women’s championships, in addition to the Universal, United States, and Tag Team Championships, were defended during this event. WWE has changed significantly this year. Compared to last year, there are fewer championship matches in Extreme Rules 2022.

In this matchup for the Women’s Championship, only Raw and SmackDown will compete. The other champions are exempt from having to defend their championships.

The show features big-name celebrities.

WWE consistently scheduled high-end live events around Roman Reigns. Megastars like Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns appeared on the program last year. This time, Becky and Roman are not, though. WWE has increased the conditions as a result. Additionally, other elite wrestlers have been allowed to make up for their shortcomings. This time, prominent figures like Ronda Rousey and Edge have joined Extreme Rules to make up for the lack of Roman. Daniel Cormier, a legend of the UFC, will also appear on the program, drawing large crowds.
