Introduction of 5g across nations
Aerial Experimentation and Research Platform for Advanced Wireless and Ericsson have joined forces to advance the usage of 5G for drone operations in support of smart agriculture. The platform is financed by the National Science Foundation and a group of industry partners. The demonstration involved real-time observation of grazing patterns in a field of cattle.

At the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, Comcast revealed intentions to reduce the amount of electricity used to process each terabyte of data by half by 2030 and double network energy efficiency. As part of the rollout of multi-gig Internet speeds across the United States, the company also announced a successful test of the last technical element required to deliver multi-gigabit symmetrical speeds powered by 10G and DOCSIS 4.0 throughout the entire Comcast network. The company expects to reach more than 50 million homes and businesses by the end of 2025.
