Amazon gets ready for the shopping event known as Prime Early Access
A new, two-day worldwide shopping event only for Prime members, the Prime Early Access Sale, has been unveiled by Amazon.
This starts on October 11 at midnight PDT and lasts until October 12 in 15 nations: Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the UK, and the United States

The Roblox metaverse sees a significant move from Walmart.

Walmart Land and Walmart’s Universe of Play are two brand-new immersive experiences that the retailer is introducing on the Roblox metaverse platform.
The former will provide the more than 52 million daily users of Roblox things related to fashion, style, beauty, and entertainment.
Asda uses technology from Dassault Systèmes for supply chain project
For its internal transport operations, Asda has chosen planning and optimization tools from Dassault Systèmes.
The world’s largest supermarket chain will use Perfect Logistics, which makes use of DELMIA Quintiq apps to streamline the movement of goods between its suppliers, distribution hubs, and retail locations.

Successful Fundraisers

Not So Dark secures $80 million in Series B fundraising round Kharis Capital and Verlinvest, in collaboration with Conviviality Ventures, led the $80 million Series B funding round for the French FoodTech business Not So Dark.
The investment raises the company’s overall capital to $105 million.
In 2020, Not So Dark began selling delivery-only menus on Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Since then, it has been spread around France, with tech-focused operations operating out of its shadowy kitchens.

Curry improves the consumer experience both in-person and online.
The electronics retailer Currys has launched a more connected service that it claims will “deliver customised journeys and customer data on a large scale” across all of its channels.
Currys has been on a journey for the past 16 months to become a “best in class, digital-first omnichannel shop.”
