The Recruit: First look images of the upcoming spy thriller introduces Noah Centineo as a CIA lawyer

The Recruit, a new thriller series that will debut on Netflix on December 16, will feature Noah Centineo. The Recruit, a streamer original series that premieres on December 16, was teased by the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actor at the TUDUM fan event on Saturday. Despite the fact that Centineo has worked in the entertainment sector for more than ten years, it was his frequent partnerships with Netflix, particularly his work on the To All The Boys series, that propelled him to fame.

In The Recruit, Centineo will portray a CIA lawyer who gets caught up in perilous global power struggles when a former CIA agent threatens to reveal the organisation. The actor is seen in the photograph with bruises and injuries, hinting at the aftermath of the action the show would depict. It appears that Centineo is way over his head, or maybe he just got more than he bargained for, based on the worried expression on his face in the recently released photo and the cuts on his character’s face.

For Centineo, who got his start in teen rom-coms and dramas, the impending spy thriller is a huge change. In addition to the aforementioned To All the Boys series, he also made appearances in Austin & Ally, The Fosters, The Perfect Date, and How to Build a Better Boy. He will next be seen competing with industry veterans like Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan in the upcoming Black Adam.

Netflix requested eight one-hour episodes of The Recruit. The show’s creator, Alexi Hawley, will serve as the showrunner. Along with Gene Klein and David Bartis, executive producing will also be done by Hawley, Liman, and Centineo. In a month that will also witness the launches of Pinocchio, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and The Witcher: Blood Origin, to mention a few, The Recruit will be available on Netflix.
