A fantasy bout between AJ Styles and the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther has been hinted at by AJ Styles. WWE RAW Superstar AJ Styles has hinted at a fantasy battle between himself and the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther. However, Gunther will temporarily defend his championship against Austrian superstar Sheamus at the Clash at the Castle in his home nation.

Styles stated on WWE’s The Bump Show that he and Gunther would face off in the future and that the Phenomenal One would be shown dodging the IC Champion’s signature maneuver and powerful chops.

Says Styles “It will take place. It will undoubtedly happen later on. If possible, I’m going to try to avoid receiving hefty chops to the chest. Since a lot has occurred and it relates to wrestling. But it can’t look good, guy.

AJ Styles sings “Tell Theory” He has talent
On the same episode of The Bump, AJ Styles also discussed the theory. Recently, the two guys have traded rings.
According to Styles, the former United States Champion has a bright future ahead for himself, who he believes will be one of the greatest superstars of all time.

The Phenomenal One also admires Theory’s athletic abilities but thinks he is a bit immature.

Styles said, “Listen, he’s short… Maybe he’s having a lot of fun. He is super athletic. We all know he would be one of the greatest people, I mean this guy has all the talent in the world. But I think maturity, that’s the obstacle in that right now. But we will see what happens in the future.”

Styles is currently competing on the Red brand and has teamed up with Bobby Lashley in recent weeks. In a recent live event, the two-faced Theory in a triple-threat match.

The former WWE Champion will not be a part of the Castle at the Clash to be held in the UK. But it remains to be seen what Triple H and his creative team plan for the legend.
