Ben Simmons has “quietly” transitioned into his much-awaited NBA comeback

Ben Simmons has resolved a $28.5 million dispute with his former organization, therefore he is now “barred” from making his long-awaited NBA comeback with the Brooklyn Nets.
After refusing to comply, Simmons, this week resolved his dispute with the Philadelphia 76ers to recover a chunk of his compensation from the previous season.
Simmons, who had back surgery earlier this year during the playoffs, is anticipated to start for the Nets on Oct. 4 when they play their first preseason game.
When Simmons steps on the court on Oct. 4 against the Miami Heat, it will have been 472 days since he played his final NBA minute in the now-famous Week 7 playoff game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks.

Australian mentality

Sharpshooter Seth Curry, who was later dealt to Brooklyn along with Simmons and big man Andre Drummond in a historic trade last season, was one of the players that shared the court with Simmons on that fateful night.
Curry revealed the Australian’s mentality and created a picture of a star prepared to dispel some skeptics.
He’s in good spirits, I’ve met him a couple of times since the end of the season, he told Wide World of Sports.
He’s been working out hard in the gym, and from what I’ve heard and seen, he’s been stuck in Brooklyn just trying to be ready for next year. That’s great, and I anticipate him showing up for training camp.” We had a terrific relationship and accomplished a lot of good things while playing together in Philadelphia the previous season, so maybe we’ll continue that trend into the upcoming year.”

Curry’s claims

Curry is not lying when he claims that he and Simmons “done a lot of positive things” while playing for the Sixers.
In 2020–21, with both players on the court, Philadelphia outscored its rivals by 9.9 points for every 100 possessions.
After the Utah Jazz and Hawks, the Sixers would have had the third-best offensive rating in the NBA in 2021–2022, thanks to their 115.2 offensive ratings while Curry and Simmons were on the court together.
The club prospered in the 2021 postseason when Simmons and Curry shared the court, outscoring opponents by 15.3 points per 100 possessions with a 124.1 offensive rating despite Simmons’ troubles. This team has incredible strength.
When opening night comes at the end of October, it’s unclear if the pair will still be teammates.
