The Denver Nuggets standout guard Jamal Murray revealed that Australian-born Jack White has already made an impact, breaking the previous record for the team’s 100-point shooting practice.
White received a two-way contract with the Nuggets in exchange for his excellent NBA Summer League play, and he joined the team following national team duties.
The former captain of Duke and Melbourne United has made an impact right away.

Murray’s talk with the reporters.

During a special visit at the launch of Melbourne’s NBA Store, Murray informed reporters that “He (White) owns the record for the Nuggets 100 threes.”
The Canadian said sarcastically, “But as of right now. I haven’t done it yet.
” Although Murray, who is visiting Australia for the first time, claimed he “doesn’t know much” about the NBL, he is still close with Melbourne United player Isaac Humphries from their time as college roommates at Kentucky.
After suffering an ACL injury in February 2021, Murray is getting ready to make his court debut in the NBA preseason at the end of this month.
The 25-year-old acknowledged having some self-doubts while out of the game but added that “time heals” and that it allowed him to improve on other aspects of his game.
When questioned about his chances of making a comeback during the playoffs, Murray responded, “I was working towards it and you want to stay psychologically locked in to try to get there.

When I sit here and consider how far I’ve come since then, it’s like night and day.
Without the ability to move and play like I want to, I wouldn’t have been the player I am today in the playoffs.
Despite missing one and a half seasons, the Nuggets will be hoping that Murray can regain his prior best form to co-star with reigning MVP Nikola Jokic in the following season to help Denver move farther through the playoffs—and perhaps even contend for the championship.

Murray is excited

If Murray can regain his lofty best form, none more so than his outstanding play in the 2020 Playoffs, which he played exclusively in the Orlando “Bubble” due to the pandemic, averaging 26.5 points on more than 50% shooting from 19 games, it will go a long way toward helping the Nuggets reach the Western Conference Finals.
Murray responded, “No doubt,” when asked how sure he was in regaining his form in the 2020 Playoffs.
The problem is, you guys haven’t seen my best; that was merely my average performance.
I need to get outside because I’m eager.
