This week’s show of Friday Night Smackdown was live-streamed from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. It started with the Women’s Tag-Team Championship tournament and ended with Gunther vs Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship. In this segment, Drew McIntyre talks about last week’s attack by Carrion Cross and says that now new faces are coming into WWE. The Viking Raiders are on their way to the ring for their match when Kofi Kingston attacks them from behind with a cando stick. Erik throws them at Ivar’s shield and then Ivar makes a splash on Kofi from the barricade.
Ronda Rousey walks into the ring from the audience and says that it is double the fine she put on me and then she would put a lot of money out of the table in a bag. After which the officials come there and ask Ronda to go backstage. The Usos call Drew McIntyre to the ring for a match against The Miz and Sami Zayn. Before this, Madcap Moss makes his comeback running towards the ring and then attacking The Usos. McIntyre then first targets Jay Uso.
Little about past
In January 2019, Wesley Walter debuted for WWE on the NXT UK roster. To capture the WWE United Kingdom Championship, he defeated Pete Dunne. After interference from the European Union, he retained the title against Dunne in May. (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel). As Worlds Collide approached, Imperium and Undisputed Era started fighting. NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Night 1 saw them defeat Tommaso Ciampa.

But then Jimmy takes the tag from J and then continues his attack on McIntyre. But just as he is about to put a Claymore Kick on Jay, Sammy pushes him, and then that Claymore kick hits Sammy. After this, the match continues even further with McIntyre pinning Jimmy inside the ring. The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Gunther started with a classic lock by both superstars. Nakamura then tried to put Gunther in the armbar after a few kicks but Gunther managed to pull it out.
After this, Nakamura again tried to make a comeback in the match by kicking Gunther. But Gunther made a terrific chop on Nakamura’s chest and then put Nakamura on the turnbuckle in a submission.
