Scarlett, the husband of Kross, emerged from the shadows shortly after, dropping an hourglass inside the ring and leaving a note for Roman Reigns.
Kross and Scarlett’s return to the corporation was the subject of a recent report from Fightful Select, which cites August 1 as the day the effort to bring the couple back to the organization appeared to get underway.
According to the article, Triple H, who previously oversaw NXT and is now the head of WWE, was “dismayed” by the way Karrion Kross was portrayed during his brief main roster tenure in 2021.
When compared to Roman Reigns, Kross and Scarlett are currently ranked as SmackDown’s second-most hated villains.

It has been said that the WWE’s new creative lead was “dismayed” by Karrion Kross’ former management of the main roster after Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque welcomed Scarlett and Kross back to the organization on last week’s SmackDown.
According to Fightful Select, Levesque was not a fan of how Karrion was portrayed on Raw after his promotion under the now-retired WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon in July 2021. Levesque was already a well-known Kross/Scarlett devotee.
Kross was so dedicated to this that he passed up the chance to compete against Wardlow in AEW.
The information provided by Fightful also effectively supports that of Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who earlier today claimed that Kross had moved up to the position of SmackDown’s second-ranking heel after Roman Reigns.

Is Triple H abusing his position of authority?

Former WWE writer Vince Russo believes that Triple H is abusing his position as head of creative to bring back his favorite performers.
Recent news indicates that Vince McMahon will leave the organization.
Meanwhile, WWE announced that The Game would take over the creative services department and resume his responsibilities as EVP, Talent Relations.

Comebacks in the reign of Triple H

Russo highlighted his displeasure about the frequent reappearances of superstars from the former black-and-gold brand during a segment on this week’s edition of Legion of RAW.
The veteran wrestler explained how no one might be able to make peace with the crowd if so many individuals returned at once.
There are so many people coming in at once that nobody can get over there.
Russo said that the die-hard fans would be watching, but he questioned whether the show could bring in new viewers. “I’m talking about whether this show will draw in new viewers and eyes.
