Undrafted Purdue center Trevion Williams was given an Exhibit 10 contract by the Warriors on Friday, according to sources cited by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
During the recently concluded Las Vegas Summer League, Williams, a 6-foot-10, 265-pound player for the Boston Celtics, averaged 7.4 points while shooting 45.7 percent from the floor. Throughout five games, he also averaged 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.2 minutes.
Williams played for Purdue for four seasons, finishing his senior year with an average of 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over 37 games.

Scores

His greatest collegiate campaign was as a junior in 2020–21, when he played 28 games for the Boilermakers and averaged 15.5 points and 9.1 rebounds.
The Warriors should have at least one guaranteed roster place available if Williams, recently signed Mac McClung or someone else can prove themselves worthy of it, even though the remainder of their roster and rotation appears to be set.
Williams would provide more front-court depth for the Warriors, who currently only have Kevon Looney and James Wiseman as centers on the roster, with Draymond Green able to fill in when necessary.
