Domestic Violence

Miles Bridges, a member of the Charlotte Hornets, is currently at the very beginning of his NBA career after being detained on suspicion of domestic abuse.
The six-two, the 24-year-old frontman was detained a week ago on charges of domestic violence. Bridges is accused of beating his wife, Mychelle Johnson, in front of their two small children.

Johnson posted images of her accidents and a medical report along with a social media post in which she detailed the abuse.

Bridges have entered a not guilty plea to a few counts of felony domestic abuse, but that is just the beginning of what lies ahead in the protracted legal battle.
The player, who just received a recommendation to extend his contract with the Hornets, topped the team in scoring last season.

If the participant is found guilty in the end, they could go to jail. If found guilty of the charges, Bridges may spend up to 11 years and 8 months in prison, according to the sources.

Up to now, Bridges has become involved in many disputes. The most serious of all the claims, though, are the most recent ones.
The trial’s outcome could result in harsh sanctions for the participant, who also performs as a rapper in his spare time, and could destroy his career.

Unclear future

However, Bridges ultimately decided to resign from the Hornets despite other teams showing interest in purchasing his services. These initiatives, however, have been shelved in light of these fresh allegations.
Nevertheless, in the end, a protracted legal process will be the only way to know what the future holds, it is typically possible that the Hornets will decide to break their agreement with Bridges.
