Titus O’Neil, who was presented as WWE’s Global Ambassador, gave an odd promo to kick off Raw. O’Neil criticized WWE for its charitable endeavors and for not engaging in debate on “divisive” topics like race, politics, and religion. Given that Vince McMahon’s alleged sexual misconduct is still being investigated by WWE and that there are reports that the product may be rated a TV 14 rating, the timing of such a “rah-rah” pro-WWE promo is undoubtedly odd.
I get to represent WWE all across the world, and goodwill is something I believe the world needs more than anything right now, Titus said.
And there is no doubt that every one of us does all within our power to make sure that everyone in the audience, both inside and outside the ring, is smiling. Whether it’s providing aid to the less fortunate or assisting our service members around the world.

A Special In-Ring message for the fans
Titus continued by stating that right now the world needs kindness and that WWE employees do their part to spread happiness both inside and outside of the ring by assisting the less fortunate and supporting military personnel all across the world. The crowd began to yell “USA!” in response to this.
Titus went on to say that while spreading goodness is important, we won’t ever hear WWE discuss anything important like politics, religion, or other philosophical issues. Fans had been applauding Titus at various moments in his promo, but this statement drew less support.
Titus continued, “WWE just wants to make sure we’re all having a good time. This is a place where people deserve to have a haven, regardless of color, economic background, or nationality.” Fans roared once more as Titus welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW and said, “This is precisely what we’re about to do at RAW tonight.”
