Anthony and Joe Russo’s highly anticipated spy thriller The Gray Man, which is set to premiere on Netflix later this month, has just received a brand-new action-packed teaser. The new video, which was released on Friday via the Russo Brothers’ official Twitter account, features fight scenes, pyrotechnics, and Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans as First Man and Lightyear preparing for combat.

The Gray Man, based on the same-titled novel series by Mark Greaney, follows Gentry, who has discovered some of the most sinister secrets of the CIA. Because of this, Hansen has set his sights on him and is determined to kill him. Agent Dani Miranda, who is portrayed by Ana de Armas, appears to be the only ally Gentry has (No Time to Die). The movie’s cast also includes Billy Bob Thornton, Rege-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura, and Alfre Woodard in addition to Gosling, Evans, and de Armas. Along with fellow Avengers: Endgame writers Christoper Markus and Stephen McFeely, Joe Russo co-wrote the script.

As fireworks explode above, the opening scene of the teaser features CIA agent Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), also known as Sierra Six, moving through a crowd. He is clearly a target who has “gotten his hands on some compromising material,” according to the voice-over that plays in the background. A brief appearance by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former coworker of Gentry, who requests the name of the target. He is informed as “The Gray Man.”

The subsequent sequences are considerably more exciting, featuring a vehicle pursuit, a plane crash, and even more explosions. The trailer closes with Hansen asking Gentry if he’s prepared to “dance,” which is another way of saying fight, and claims that the movie will be “the most explosive film of the summer.” Before Hansen punches anyone, the two get into a fight.

With a budget of over $200 million, The Gray Man is one of the most costly movies Netflix has ever made. The movie will open in a few cinemas on July 15 before making its Netflix premiere on July 22.
