Thor: Love and Thunder arrives in theatres next month, bringing back numerous fan-favourite Marvel characters, including Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander), who haven’t seen alongside the God of Thunder since Thor: The Dark World in 2013. However, certain prominent names aren’t likely to appear in the film, including as Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Thor Ragnarok’s Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). Goldblum is now promoting Jurassic World Dominion, and when asked if the Grandmaster will return in Love and Thunder, he gave the most Goldblum answer ever.

“Will I be in Love and Thunder? The fact is, and I can say this now since the trailer has been released, I am in it “In an interview with Esquire, Goldblum cracked a joke. “It’s my most difficult role to date, and I consider it my greatest triumph. Visually, I am not visible. You never notice me. And you’re not hearing me. I don’t believe I’m mentioned in any scene. Only vibrationally am I perceived. It’s up to the viewer to notice… You will, however, feel something. That would be me.”

Taika Waititi’s highly anticipated sequel “Thor: Love and Thunder” already includes a slew of special cameo parts worth anticipating, with some sly ones hidden in the trailer (such as The Watcher from “What If…?”). “Love and Thunder” reintroduces Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor, while also delving into Chris Hemsworth’s (Avengers: Endgame) emotional state following the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” But what about the other “Thor” movie recurring characters?

In addition to Portman and Alexander, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie, and the majority of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to numerous returning favourites, the film will mark the debuts of Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher and Russell Crowe as Zeus.
In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Goldblum discussed Jurassic World Dominion, comparing the experience to attending a high school reunion.

While this is not a confirmation of anything, it does give fuel to the talk regarding Goldblum’s return, which is always a good idea for the actor’s admirers. Furthermore, Waititi defined “Love and Thunder” as a “mid-life crisis” film, which, along with the road trip motif, may suggest Thor going across the galaxy and eventually returning to Sakaar, or at the very least crossing paths with the Grandmaster somewhere.
Until then, we’ll have to settle for “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which will be released in theatres on July 7, 2022.
