Peaky Blinders’ career on television has come to an end after six seasons and over ten years. The final three episodes of the TV series serve as an exhilarating conclusion to this chapter of Tommy Shelby’s story, laying the groundwork for a future thriller film starring the original Peaky Blinders cast, according to creator Steven Knight.

The good news is that you don’t need a TV licence to see the series’ final episodes, which were universally lauded by fans at the time for being a “beautiful” finish. This is because Peaky Blinders season 6 is now available on Netflix, along with the previous five seasons.

Peaky Blinders takes place between the two world wars, and season six begins in the 1930s. The power struggle between Tommy and Michael continues, with Michael vying to take over the family and relocate the Peaky Blinders to America, while Tommy encroaches on his domain in Boston.
Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Sam Claflin, Anya Taylor-Joy, Finn Cole, Sophie Rundle, and Harry Kirton all return in Peaky Blinders season 6. Helen McCrory, who played Polly Gray, died in 2021, yet her presence in season 6 is still felt by characters, as seen by various moving tributes.

It’s possible to make it abstract, almost like a visual narrative.” The period backdrops and locales are not only painstakingly studied by production designer Northridge and her art team in partnership with director Anthony Byrne, but they are also intertwined with significant tale references. Season six’s backdrops are filled with thematic visual detail, offering extra layers of significance if you know where to look. Gold, black, and white horses, rising suns, imagery forecasting death and invoking the rot of fascism…
